Goths usually hung out with metalheads or punks. The Goths i see are mostly girls as some of them find metalhead “fashion” too harsh. WebAs u/PorcelainLamb mentioned, the music was mostly nu-metal and the bands listed in the OP; not stuff you'd normally attribute to the goth subculture. It was silly and naive, even faddish, but I genuinely think fondly of that time. Most kids back then had virtually no exposure to the goth scene or music.
